PRETTY CHEESY!

CHEESE FROM AMERICA!  ELDER GALE WITH HIS WARNING TO ME ON IT!  FUNNY GUY!

Oscar is doing really well, he was at church and at our talent show. I have videos not pictures so you have to wait until I get home to see them. There are 2 sets of missionaries in the house and so we have 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and we have 2 rooms to do studies and we have 1 kitchen. We also finally got a microwave so that's super nice. So here are some answers to questions that I get a lot. We have a cell phone and no we are never going to get bikes, cars, Iphones, Androids or anything that could be considered advanced. Because the chances increase for us to get robbed. This week we helped some people move from their house. Missionaries love to do service so call your local missionaries if you need help with anything. As for doing new things I made some no bake cookies and everyone wanted the recipe so they could make their own. So I´m trying to Americanize the Colombian world one dessert at a time. I¨m super obsessed with the song Savior, Redeemer of my soul from the movie 17 miracles, it's just super awesome.  Listen below.

We didn't meet all our goals but we are going to be working more efficiently this week to try and surpass them so that we can be the better example to the zone. The weather is always so nice here.

HERE ARE SOME PICTURES OF MY BIRTHDAY AND THE LAST 2 WEEKS.

Mom, Mom, Mommy, Mommy, Ma, Ma...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

This is the Primary (Children's organization) from my church in Joliet, Illinois

I have  photos for next week.  I forgot to bring my cord.   I haven´t received any packages since March because I couldn't go to Bogota because of the worker/farmers' strike. Oscar is doing well, we have an appointment with him tonight so it should be good.  He is getting there little by little, but we still have to teach a lot of the lessons, we are going to go by there today to teach them and hopefully we can see the real desires that he has. But he´s attended church the last few weeks and has participated really well, so that's really good.

My companions in the house have been here longer than me so they are getting past the 18 month mark and I'm only getting to the 14 so its a little sad for me, but it's all good.  The week was OK, we had some good days and some not as good days but it´s OK, it's part of life, can´t have really good days every day.  I was in the house the other day because I wasn't feeling well, so i had some sprite and crackers.

For my birthday, I had cake with my companions.  I will send pics next week.  I WANT TO WISH MY MEMAW AND PAPA A HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

FEELING TRUNKY THIS WEEK!

SWEATER DAY.  YES THAT IS A HORSE TO MY LEFT.

JUAREZ AND ME
The week was fine, a lot of people were getting ready for some strike that supposedly started last night but I haven´t seen anything so we´re going to be working normal.   I get to go to Bogota this week so I'll be getting my packages hopefully depending on if the mail workers accept it and if they are working.  I'm hoping to get some Cheez-its and some Twix or Butterfingers.

TRUNKING IT!

Oscar is doing good, he´ll get married the 14 of June and baptized the same day because it´s his birthday,  funny how everyone here wants to get baptized on their birthdays so they can have something else special that happened on that day.

I will try to write more next week.  Sorry that this is short but I have been very busy.
